Wine Spectator's Grand Tour 2026

On Friday, May 1st in Tampa, Wine Spectator hosted their Grand Tour tasting. Every year this event travels to three different cities. This year the tour started in Denver, then San Diego and then TAMPA. These tastings features over 200 wines all highly respected and receive over 90 points from the magazines top tasters.

I tasted about 50 different wines on Friday and can attest to the quality of the wines and how unique this experience is. My wine of the night which I scored 97 points was the Taub Family Cabernet Sauvignon from the illustrious Beckstoffer Georges III vineyard. I had never tasted this wine or any wine from the winery before, so it was a revelation to me. I hope you can join us next year!!!
